We have created and led a number of different walking tours in Ludlow, including those based around local history and the unique architecture of the city. Keep an eye on our calendar and social media for future tours!
Progressive Porch Party
A summer event, this brings the community together in a specific neighborhood to highlight the history and architecture of that location. Pictured left is our 2022 party in Closson Court. Each of the porches featured served a course in a meal and guests navigated to each porch for their meal. Music, community, and history were all celebrated. We look forward to bringing this event back soon!
Holiday Home Tours
In 2024, we revived our Holiday Home Tours! The historic holiday home tour features a number of local homes decorated for the holidays. Guests enjoy an evening exploring the city, learning about the history and architecture of the homes, and appreciating the holiday spirit in a small town.
Winter Lecture Series
Each winter, the LHS hosts a number of lectures at local businesses focused on Ludlow history. Previous lectures have highlighted the history of the railroad, the Ludlow Lagoon, professional baseball in Ludlow, the original families of Ludlow, and much more! Ludlow Trivia
Think you know everything about Ludlow history? Or are you new to the community and want to learn more? Either way, joining us for Ludlow Trivia is a great time.
