On Sunday, October 4, join the Ludlow Historic Society for a special journey through Spring Grove Cemetery as we visit the final resting places of some of Ludlow’s first and most influential families.
Rather than walking the grounds, guests will travel together aboard a tram, winding through the beautiful landscape of Spring Grove as we stop at gravesites connected to Ludlow’s beginnings. Along the way, we’ll share the stories of the people buried there, who they were, how they lived, and the part they played in the story of our city.
For those who may have joined us for our First Families of Ludlow walking tour, this experience carries that story beyond the streets of Ludlow and into the place where many of those early residents now rest. And if you missed the walking tour, no worries you’ll still be able to step right into the story.
With seating limited to just 24 guests , this will be a small and intimate opportunity to experience local history in one of the region’s most beautiful historic landscapes.
Come ride with us as we follow Ludlow’s story across the river, through the gates of Spring Grove, and back to the people who helped begin it.
